October 2, 2010
Please accept my deepest and sincere thank you, with a plus, for unselfishly sharing your time and energy to show your concern, love and compassion towards my husband, father, and friend to all.
It was such a difficult and heart wrenching day, Sept. 16, 2010 when my Ed ended his final journey of life. Each and everyone of you gave me and my family the strength and courage we needed to say our final goodbyes.
You shared with us your stories about Ed, some humor, tears of love, and many, many hugs.
You showed your respect and love for him by keeping him comfortable and keeping his dignity about him at all times.
You kept that love and concern and respect going all into the night, until his last few breaths. You made it easier for me to say that final “I love you” and to let him go into his new life. For this I will always remember each and everyone one of you, and you will have a special place in my heart.
Karcher Estates should be oh so proud to have a “one of a kind” staff working for them. Each of you are unique in your own way and it show by the way you go out of your way to give unto others love, warmth, respect, friendship and quality plus care…
I will miss all of you. It has been a memorable and sometimes difficult 6 months. However, you made it possible for me and Ed to share our love with each other, share laughs and conversation with all our good friends we made and to share precious quality time with one another. Most important, all of you added a branch to Ed’s quality of life tree throughout his time spent at Karcher.
From my heart and those of my family, we thank you and we applaud each and everyone of you. Job well done.
Sincerely,
Pat and Family
