Karcher Estates offers full-time comprehensive in-house rehabilitation services at our community. We offer Speech, Occupational, Physical and Respiratory Therapies, with 24 hour skilled nursing. Our professional rehabilitation staff is committed to one-on-one resident contact and hands-on therapy to restore residents to their optimal functional status and quality of living. Each discipline provides aggressive, specialized treatment while maintaining a comfortable and fun environment.
Physical Therapy
The physical therapy program provides evaluation and ongoing treatment to improve a resident's mobility, decrease pain, increase strength, and promote endurance. By combining our progressive program with an atmosphere of compassion and reinforcement, our physical therapists help residents reach their maximum level of function.
Respiratory Therapy
Respiratory therapy provides a comprehensive rehabilitation program for the needs of our residents with respiratory complications. We bring the quality and thoroughness of in-house respiratory care right to a resident's room.
Speech and Language Pathology
Qualified speech and language pathologists provide ongoing treatment to maximize safety and independence skills in communication, swallowing, or chewing for residents with a variety of medical diagnoses. The program includes screening, evaluation, and treatment for impaired speech, voice, language, thought processes, hearing, chewing or swallowing.
Nursing Team
Our nursing team provides professional nursing care 24 hours a day and maintains a high nurse-to-patient ratio. Our CNA’s are continually trained and highly skilled at what they do.
